This policy covers every short link created through UrlHub and served on the urhb.in domain. It applies to links created by registered accounts and to links created anonymously.
UrlHub is a redirection service. We do not host the pages a short link points to. A short link resolves to an HTTP redirect and nothing else; we publish no user-supplied files and accept no uploads.
You may not create a short link that points to:
Every destination URL is screened automatically before a short link is issued, on all creation paths including anonymous and bulk creation. Screening rejects non-HTTP schemes, bare IP addresses, chains through other shorteners, known credential-logging services, brand-impersonation patterns and domains using deceptive encoding.
Screening is not infallible. A destination that is harmless when the link is created can change afterwards, and no automated check catches everything. That is why the reporting route below matters, and why we act on reports.
Anyone may report a link, whether or not they hold an account, using the report a link form. Reports may name the short link, the short code, or the destination.
A report is most useful if it includes the short link and what you found at the other end. You do not need to visit the destination again to report it.
Reports about links on urhb.in may also be sent to our abuse address, published on the contact page.
Reports are recorded and reviewed. Where a link is found to breach this policy we disable it, which takes effect immediately: the short code stops redirecting and serves a notice instead. We aim to act on reported links within 24 hours of receiving a report.
Accounts that repeatedly breach this policy are suspended. Where a link involves apparent criminal activity we retain the associated records and cooperate with law-enforcement and network-operator requests.
If you operate a network, resolver, mail system or security feed and have classified urhb.in on the basis of specific links, please send us the short codes or destinations concerned. We will investigate, disable what breaches this policy, and confirm what action was taken. We would rather receive the report than be blocked without one.
